Fouzi Yunus, graduated in Chemical Engineering from Lamar University, Beaumont, Texas in 1990. He has worked for various water treatment specialty chemical company including Nalco, Buckman Laboratories and Cytec Industries (Kemira) in technical sales and later business management covering Southeast and South Asian region over a span of 17 years before venturing into specialty chemical formulation business.
As the Managing Director of Acme Chemicals (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd he is responsible for driving the company into circular economy-oriented businesses to stay relevant. Acme now offers effluent recycling solutions under DBOOM and DBOM models targeting industries and data centres while continued to deliver portable effluent treatment solutions for palm oil, oil & gas, and petrochemical industries. The latest venture is valorisation of scum solids from palm oil mill effluent as sustainable low-cost feedstocks for biofuels
