Tijmen Vries is Director Strategy & Business Development at BioBTX, a Groningen-based cleantech company converting plastic waste and biomass into renewable aromatic chemicals (BTX). BioBTX is currently construction its first commercial scale plant based on its inhouse developed ICCP technology. Tijmen holds a master’s degree in Biosystems Engineering from Wageningen University & Research and has been with BioBTX since 2020.
