The innovation manager’s job is to gather all the resources needed to develop and commercialize the innovation, convince all the stakeholders of their vision, and ensure that all efforts are well coordinated.  

A roadmap is a great tool to achieve all this, but we see too many organizations still focusing on a technology roadmap only. You should be developing an innovation roadmap instead.
