Naotaka Gotoh serves as the manager for new business development projects in the healthcare sector at DIC Corporation. Before taking on his current role, he took an internship in venture capital in Switzerland. Following that experience, he relocated to the USA, where he led DIC’s Corporate Venture Capital (CVC) team. During his tenure, DIC successfully invested in six biotech startups worldwide. Upon returning to Japan, he is now spearheading co-development and commercialization projects with these startups. Additionally, he continues to actively scout for new technologies to expand the company’s business portfolio. His current focus lies in fostering innovations within skincare and food ingredients, as well as exploring opportunities in agriculture and aquaculture.
