Xiao Zhong is a senior research analyst at Lux, and leads the Materials team’s coverage of materials design and manufacturing. In this role, he leverages his technical expertise, deep passion, and business acumen to assess emerging technologies such as 3D printing, materials informatics, generative design, and advanced simulation.
Prior to joining Lux, Xiao worked at Evonik focusing on pharmaceutical formulation development.
He holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science from New York University and has authored 17 publications and has 1 granted patent (and another pending). He is fluent in both English and Mandarin.
