Yuji Suzuki is the CEO of bitBiome, Inc. He earned a B.A. in Social Sciences from the University of Tokyo and an MPhil in East Asian Studies from the University of Cambridge. He is a certified bioinformatics engineer by the Japan Society of Bioinformatics (JSBi). Mr. Suzuki began his career at Japan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Financial Services Agency, then joined McKinsey & Company (Tokyo and Shanghai), where he led strategy, organization, and operations projects primarily in medical devices and manufacturing. He later served as Global Head of Strategy Development and IPO preparation at Macromill (then a Bain Capital portfolio company), Executive Vice President at Human Metabolome Technologies (a Keio University spin-out), and CEO within the Strategy & Innovation Office at Rakuten Group, Inc. He joined bitBiome as COO in October 2021 and has served as CEO since July 2022.
