The Future of Carbon: Building Resilience in a Defossilized World 

ASEAN benefits from a resource-rich region that has stood up domestic production of energy resources and chemical feedstocks. As the region continues to experience rapid economic growth, it is slowly losing its self-reliance as it depends on imported fossil fuels to meet growing demand. With disruptions in supply chains and a fragmenting global economy, there are risks of a dwindling supply of fossil-based raw materials.
