Matthew Watton is a senior anthropologist at Lux and contributes to the Predictive Anthropology team’s research on CPG, sustainability, and health & wellness, among others. In this role, he authors research employing a variety of qualitative research methodologies, ethnographic data, and AI-enabled tools, as well as contributes to trainings and webinars.
Prior to joining Lux, Matt was awarded a postdoctoral fellowship and worked as a lecturer at the University of Toronto, from which he also received his Ph.D. in philosophy and classics. His academic research focused on how linguistic translation influences conceptual transformation across Greco-Roman antiquity.
