Charles (Chuck) Paul is Vice President – Technology at Henkel Adhesive Technologies. Chuck has a PhD in Chemical Engineering from UC Berkeley and over 30 years of experience in materials R&D and R&D management with a focus on polymer-based systems, leading to over 65 US patents. In his current role within New Business Development he provides technology assessments for all potential investments be they M&A or Venture. Chuck spends the majority of his time supporting Henkel Tech Ventures to find start-up companies and technologies which could support Henkel’s growth and expansion into adjacent/emerging markets.
