In this report, we modeled the process economics of the incumbent recycling process – mechanical recycling – as well as advanced recycling technologies – depolymerization, pyrolysis, and solvent-based recycling – in order to determine the economics of these processes, and understand the effects of market factors and technology development on those economics.
