Varsha Sethuraman is a research associate at Lux and contributes to the Materials & Manufacturing team’s coverage of biobased plastics and biobased chemicals, leveraging her technical expertise and passion for these technologies. Varsha has also contributed to research in packaging alternatives and battery technologies.
Prior to joining Lux, Varsha worked at the Netherlands Organisation for Applied Scientific Research, focusing on the circular economy transition. She holds a master’s degree in climate studies from Wageningen University and has co-authored an academic publication on mangrove ecosystems to mitigate climate change.
