In this webinar, we outline how consumer companies are advancing or failing to advance their understanding of the agriculture supply chain and where opportunities exist to leverage digital agriculture innovations to hit sustainability and product goals.

CPG companies have set sustainability goals but are under the gun to move quickly as promised timelines loom and third-party watch dogs call out greenwashing. While internal expertise can help identify options that move the needle on sustainability for areas of core expertise, identifying options and strategies to reduce impacts associated with the supply chain, particularly those ingredients coming from agriculture, is difficult. However, we are reaching a paradigm shift wherein agriculture’s advancing state of digital transformation, regulatory information requirements for the supply chain, and consumer interest in sustainability are aligning for downstream companies (i.e., commodity, processor, and CPG companies) to create connections with the supply chain and reduce environmental impacts while improving production quality and consistency.
