Urbi is a Research Associate at Lux and contributes to the Agrifood team’s coverage of food and nutrition. In this role, she researches alternative proteins, cell-based meat, and other topics in emerging food technology. Urbi has also contributed to sustainable product development as well as food quality.
Prior to joining Lux, Urbi worked at Assay Consulting as a food scientist and Equinox Labs in India as a hygiene auditor. She holds an M.Sc. in food science from ISA Lille, France, where she worked as an assistant engineer for Phileo during an internship. In her off hours, Urbi enjoys cooking, working out, music, and traveling. She will be based in the Amsterdam office.
