Dr. Ryan DuChanois is the co-founder and CEO of Solidec, a startup pioneering technology to produce the world’s most essential chemicals, on site and on demand. Before spinning out Solidec from Rice University, he spent years at the intersection of research and technology development. He holds a PhD in Engineering from Yale University and a Master’s in Sustainability from the University of Cambridge. A prolific researcher with 20 peer-reviewed publications, Dr. DuChanois has received numerous honors, including the Activate, Gates Cambridge, and NSF Graduate Research fellowships.
