Akshay Chaudhari, Ph.D., is an analyst at Lux Research, where he covers next-generation materials and manufacturing technologies. He is based in Singapore. Akshay’s considerable expertise spans innovative technologies like materials informatics, advanced materials for thermal management, sustainable and smart manufacturing, and digital twins, helping clients unlock new business opportunities in emerging domains like circularity and decarbonization.

Before joining Lux, Akshay was a research fellow at the National University of Singapore (NUS), where he led several manufacturing projects in sectors like aerospace and oil and gas. His work in digital twins for machine tools, predictive maintenance, and manufacturing process optimization has been featured in top-tier journals and presented at conferences.

With a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from NUS and a graduate certification in management of technology, Akshay combines deep technical knowledge with strategic insight — serving as a trusted adviser helping companies navigate a fast-evolving innovation landscape.

When he’s not driving insightful research, Akshay enjoys exploring his creative side by sketching or painting.
