Nancy Kang is a research associate at Lux Research on the Manufacturing Group team. She is based in San Francisco. Nancy brings expert knowledge of advanced materials to her role as trusted adviser for clients looking to innovate across a range of products and processes. Before joining Lux, Nancy worked in R&D for Aeroshield Materials, a climate tech startup, and as a venture fellow at an early stage climate-tech venture capital fund. She has a B.Sc. in chemical engineering from Johns Hopkins University and an M.Sc. in chemical engineering from the University of California–Berkeley. Nancy is passionate about discovering innovations in climate and sustainability.
Outside work, she is a member of a hip-hop dance team and enjoys exploring the outdoors, particularly hiking, snowboarding, and camping.
