Safoora Khosravi is a senior research associate at Lux Research, specializing in consumer health science, digital biomarkers, and health wearables. She is based in Vancouver, Canada. She is pivotal in providing insights into the latest innovations redefining health and wellness and guiding innovation leaders at the nexus of food, nutrition, and consumer health.

Before joining Lux, Safoora was a research assistant at the University of British Columbia, Canada, where she focused on developing wearable biosensors for healthcare applications. As a Ph.D. candidate in electrical engineering, she pioneers e-textiles for diabetes monitoring and electrochemical sensors for enzymatic detection, contributing to advances in health technology.

Safoora holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in electrical engineering from the University of Tehran, Iran, where she developed biosensors for cancer cell detection. With over 10 peer-reviewed publications, she has made substantial contributions to the field of biosensors and wearable technology.
