Miraj Mainali is a Senior Research Associate at Lux, and contributes to the Digital Transformation research program. He conducts research focused on industry 4.0 and analyzes technologies and market trends in predictive maintenance, robotics, automated inspection, and satellite imaging.
Prior to joining Lux Research, Miraj received his M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toledo. His research focused on evaluating the performance of M-ary APSK using punctured trellis coded modulation for digital video broadcasting standards. He also worked on a personal fitness device project using a real-time operating system, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and Texas Instruments microcontroller.
Before his M.S., Miraj worked as an electronics engineer in Nepal designing digital hardware and software for embedded systems. He also holds a B.E degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Tribhuvan University, where he completed many projects related to IoT, embedded systems, and robotics.
