Toshinori Kato joined Kuraray in 2002 after earning a Master’s degree in Polymer Science from the Tokyo Institute of Technology.
Since then, he had been an integral part of Corporate R&D, working in various capacities including at Corporate R&D labs, as a visiting scholar at the University of Minnesota (advisor: Professor Marc Hillmyer), and as a technology scout in the US and Europe.
With 20 years of experience, he is currently part of the Innovation Networking Center at Kuraray, where he promotes open innovation and new business development.
