Alia O’Brien is an associate director for predictive anthropology at Lux. In this role, she collaborates with the research directors to oversee diverse research projects, implement tech-assisted ethnographic research and data analysis methods, and design and conduct training programs and workshops for the broader research team.
Before joining Lux, Alia earned her Ph.D. in ethnomusicology from the University of Toronto, where she honed her expertise in field research methods, online ethnography, and qualitative data interpretation.
