Shriram is a Vice President, Group Director at Lux Research and leads the Digital team. He has helped set the direction for digital research as well as establish a strategy for digital health. Shriram has assisted many clients in developing a comprehensive understanding of new business opportunities in emerging technology areas like AI, robotics, wearables, IoT, healthcare, clean energy, and advanced materials. In addition, he has helped accelerate innovation within companies by building fundamental frameworks and strategic roadmaps for topics like lean innovation, business model design, data monetization, and digital maturity.
Prior to joining Lux, Shriram founded his own company to develop and commercialize IoT/wearable products to address needs in the healthcare sector. He also has held positions at Evonik, United Technologies, and Cornell University, working in areas involving R&D, product development, growth strategies, and innovation management.
Shriram holds a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from the University of Minnesota.
