Christopher (Chris) Robinson is a Senior Director at Lux Research, where he advises clients on building innovation strategies around emerging technologies powering the energy transition. In this role, he has worked with a variety of clients primarily in the automotive, utility, and oil and gas sectors as a trusted adviser to executives and other decision-makers. Chris has held a variety of roles at Lux, including leading its coverage of mobility innovations related to electrification and autonomy and most recently leading its research around the broader energy transition.
Prior to joining Lux Research, Chris worked at Purdue University’s Nanoscale Energy Transport and Conversion Laboratory, where his research focused on engineering higher-efficiency thermoelectric materials. He holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in mechanical engineering from Purdue University.
