Tim Grejtak is an analyst at Lux, and leads the Owning the Energy Transition team’s coverage of energy storage. In this role he covers the Li-ion battery supply chain, forecasting growth and evaluating trends in chemistry, and stationary energy storage in both utility and behind-the-meter applications. Tim has also contributed to Lux’s electric mobility coverage and research on the cross-industry use of heat, chemicals, and electricity through sector coupling.
Prior to joining Lux, Tim worked in engineering and research positions at BMW, Better Place, and most recently Lockheed Martin Energy, where he helped develop next-generation flow battery technology.
He holds a degree in mechanical engineering from MIT, a minor in energy policy and business, and a half dozen patents from his work on flow batteries.
