On April 4, 2022, the IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) released its third installment of the Sixth Assessment Report, which focuses on “mitigation of climate change.” The IPCC has released reports every five to seven years since releasing its first report in 1990, but the Sixth Assessment is the most ambitious and lengthy scenario analysis of climate pathways the IPCC has ever released.
