Jinze Dai is an analyst at Lux and contributes to the Energy team’s coverage of thermal power generation and industrial energy use. In this role, he capitalizes on his extensive R&D experience and engineering knowledge to analyze emerging energy technologies, such as carbon capture, utilization and storage (CCUS), biofuel and bioenergy, oxy-combustion, hydrogen technologies, and electrification of industrial processes.
Prior to joining Lux, Jinze worked at the University of Utah as a postdoctoral researcher leading a plastics recycling project. He holds a Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Utah. Based on the applied research and technology scale-up projects funded by government agencies and industry partners, he has over 20 publications.
