Talia Schulman is a research associate at Lux Research, where she provides insightful analysis of sustainable aviation fuels and carbon-negative technologies. Based in Lux’s Boston headquarters, Talia is at the forefront of investigating the next generation of low-carbon aviation solutions and advances in CO2-reduction technologies like direct ocean capture. Her work spans understanding the landscape of companies developing novel solutions in these areas and identifying opportunities and barriers to deploying novel solutions. Her keenly strategic approach produces insights that empower innovation leaders in the oil and gas sector to navigate the rapidly evolving innovation landscape.
Before joining Lux, Talia honed her expertise as a research analyst at Technology Catalysts International and Ardent Eagle Solutions. She holds a B.Sc. in environmental conservation and sustainability from the University of New Hampshire, and an MEng in sustainable cities from Aalborg University in Copenhagen, where she specialized in urban water management, low-carbon fuels, and sustainable development.
Passionate about environmental stewardship, Talia enjoys hiking, cooking projects, and volunteering at urban farms. She’s also on a mission to make Boston a swimmable city and is dedicated to improving her Spanish.
