Jarret Ruminski, Ph.D., is a senior anthropologist at Lux Research and contributes to the team’s coverage of American culture, sustainability, wellness, and food, among other areas. In this role, he analyzes how old and new cultural developments influence consumers’ approaches to different products and services and how understanding those cultural developments can give companies an innovative edge. Prior to joining Lux, he worked as a researcher for MotivBase, where he analyzed consumer cultures through an anthropological lens. He holds both a M.A. and Ph.D. in American history.
