About the Event
The journey toward net-zero is already transforming industries, economies, and geopolitics globally. In line with the European Green Deal initiated in 2019, the EU has introduced key measures such as “Fit for 55” (2021), RePowerEU (2022), the Green Deal Industrial Plan (2023), and the Net Zero Industry Act (2024) to drive this transformation.
Five years later, how are we progressing? This event will critically evaluate the technological advancements and strategies being employed to meet the ambitious goals of the Green Deal — highlighting near-term opportunities on the way to comprehensive transformation. We will also present Lux’s net-zero frameworks specifically designed for the oil & gas and utility sectors, illustrating how these industries can effectively balance tradeoffs between long-range goals and the need for quick commercial wins during the energy transition.
